Service numbers are the phone numbers used by your customers to contact you. They will be allocated to your account by your service provider. The service number needs to be assigned to a call flow once your flows have been defined.

To manage service numbers, click Call Handling > Service Numbers on the menu bar. A list of the service numbers that are currently allocated to the company is displayed. From here you can:
- Assign numbers to a call flow
- Add information such as a name and description of the number
- Schedule an update to change which call flow the service number is assigned to
Assign a Service Number #
- Click Call Handling > Service Numbers on the menu bar
- Select the appropriate service number in the list
- Enter the Name (up to 100 characters)
- If required, you can enter a Description (up to 250 characters) for the service number
- Expand the Call Flow dropdown list and select the call flow that should be used to handle calls to the service number
- Click Save Changes
- The number will be assigned to the flow
Definitions #
- Name: The name of the service number. This might be, for example, the type of service that the number is used for.
- Description: A brief description of the service number.
- Service Number: The indialled number for the service. National numbers start with 0 and international numbers start with +.
- User-configurable parameters: Any user-configurable parameters associated with the call flow.
- The parameters that you can configure for each service number depend on the user-configurable parameters set up for the selected call flow by an administrator.
- Call Flow: The call flow that is used to handle calls to the service number.
- If a call flow is locked, company administrators cannot change the call flow that is assigned to this service number. However, they can still change any user-configurable parameters for the call flow. This might be used, for example, with a basic class of service, where the call flow is defined by the platform owner and the company-specific configuration (user-configurable parameters) is set by the customer.
- If a call flow is not locked, company administrators can change the call flow that is assigned to this service number. They can also change any user-configurable parameters for the call flow. This might be used, for example, with a premium class of service, where the call flow is defined by the customer and the company-specific configuration (user-configurable parameters) is set by the customer.
- Update Time: The date and time that the call-flow switchover and/or parameter updates will take place.
