Administrators can create a Comma-Separated Value (CSV) text file containing area-code numbers that define an area-code group and then upload it to Contact. Each CSV file can contain area-code numbers for multiple area-code groups. Area code numbers can also be imported via a downloadable CSV file template.

Import area-code numbers #
- In the menu bar click Call Handling > Area Codes to see a list of defined area-code groups
- Click Import
- Select and open the relevant CSV file
- The ara-codes will be imported
Download Import Template #
- In the menu bar click Call Handling > Area Codes to see a list of defined area-code groups
- Click Download Import Template
- Open the CSV file and enter the data for the area-codes in the appropriate fields
- The data in the key name field in the CSV file must be unique
- Save the file
- Import the CVS file to Contact (see above)
Export area-code numbers #
Administrators can also download the area codes in an area-code group as a CSV file. All three categories of area code (numbers, areas and postcodes) can be downloaded.
- In the menu bar click Call Handling > Area Codes to see a list of defined area-code groups
- Select the relevant area-code group
- Click Export
- The area-codes will be exported and downloaded as a CSV file
