Company administrators can define queues for payments (the “link queues”). Payment queues are used to handle payment transactions. Agents are able to select a queue on which to place a new transaction. When a new payment is created, it is placed on the selected queue, in the agent’s inbox, with the item’s status set to “active”.
In order to see the contents of a payment queue, an agent needs to have both the relevant privilege and be a member of the appropriate group. This determines which agents can see which transactions.
Create and add a payment queue: #
- Navigate to Payments in the left-hand panel
- Select Payment Queues
- Click Add
- Enter a unique Name and a brief description if necessary
- Expand the Groups dropdown and select the Agent groups to assign to this payment queue
- Expand the Classification List dropdown and select the classification outcomes
- Expand the Payment Service Providers dropdown and select the relevant PSPs
- Multiple PSPs can be assigned to each payment queue.
- Click Add
- The payment queue will be created
Note: At least one PSP must be selected. If multiple PSPs have been defined, they will each require their own payment queue. Multiple queues may use the same PSP. |
Edit or delete an existing payment queue: #
- Click Payments > Payment Queues on the menu bar. A list of the payment queues that are already available is displayed.
- Select the appropriate payment queue in the list.
- To edit payment queue parameters, reconfigure the parameters as appropriate then click Save Changes.
- To delete a payment queue, click Delete and then confirm the deletion.
Note: You can only delete payment queues that are not in use. If you try to delete a payment queue when a payment for this queue is being handled by an agent, an error message is displayed. All payment links in this payment queue will also be deleted. |
Duplicate a payment queue: #
Company administrators can copy an existing payment queue, which might be useful if they want to add a payment queue that is very similar to an existing one, but they want to make slight changes to it.
- Click Payments > Payment Queues on the menu bar. A list of the payment queues that are already set up is displayed.
- Select the appropriate payment queue in the list.
- Click Copy.
- Enter the name of the copy (up to 100 characters)
- Click OK
- The queue will be duplicated
Additional Information: #
Company administrators must have the Safe-Pay Configuration: Modify privilege to create and add payment queues.
