If there is a large quantity of numbers to target in a campaign administrators can create a Comma-Separated Value (CSV) file containing a list of target destinations and upload it to the system.
- Each CSV file can contain up to 50,000 unique numbers.
- Campaign numbers can also be imported via a downloadable CSV file template.
Import a list of numbers #
Before adding numbers you will need to have created a campaign. For help setting one up see Managing outbound campaigns.
- In the menu bar click Call Handling > Campaigns to see a list of campaigns
- Select (or add) the appropriate campaign
- Click the Campaign Numbers tab
- Click Import Numbers
- Upload the relevant CSV file from your device
- The numbers will be added to the campaign
Note: The upload adds and replaces duplicate entries (keyed on number). If a duplicate campaign number is added (the same number but the name and/or notes may be different), the previous campaign number is replaced. |
Download Import Template #
You can download the import template so the CSV file is already formatted as it needs to be.
- In the menu bar click Call Handling > Campaigns to see a list of campaigns
- Select (or add) the appropriate campaign
- Click the Campaign Numbers tab
- Click Download Import Template
- A CSV template will be downloaded
File format #
Each row in the CSV file spreadsheet contains a separate campaign number. The CSV file has a list of campaign numbers to be called and each campaign number has Name, Number and Notes fields.
The following example would import 3 numbers into the campaign:
Name | Number | Notes |
---|---|---|
Campaign Number 1 | 01234567891 | Note 1 |
Campaign Number 2 | 01234567892 | Note 2 |
Campaign Number 3 | 01234567893 | Note 3 |
