Adding Notes to a routing flow #
Routing flows can become large and complex fairly quickly. You might find it useful to add notes to a routing flow for informational purposes. For example, a note may be added to describe the functionality of a particular part of the flow to help others understand the usage.
- To add a note, right-click in the routing flow background and select Add Note.
- To move a note around, drag it using the left or right mouse button.
- To modify the note text, select the note and then make changes to the Information box in the Parameters pane.
- To delete a note, either right-click on the note and select Delete or select the note and press the Delete key.
Note: Notes have no functional effect on the routing flow at all; they are merely for information. |
Panning and Zooming #
If you have a large routing flow you may not be able to see all the information on screen at one time. You will need to pan and zoom around the workspace to see the information.
- Panning moves the routing flow around, so you can see new areas of the routing flow. To pan the routing flow, drag the mouse around in an empty area of the routing flow.
- Zooming alters the amount of workspace that is visible. It requires a scroll wheel on your mouse. To zoom in, scroll up. To zoom out, scroll down.
