When managing Audio Files administrators can:
- Upload their own greetings and menus to the system
- Use the text-to-speech feature to generate audio, specifying parameters such as language, pitch and tempo
- Download an audio file
- Modify the settings for an audio file or replace an audio file
- Delete an audio file

Modify the settings for an audio file: #
Administrators can modify the settings for audio files already added to the system. Any changes to audio files are recorded in the audit log.
- In the menu bar click Call Handling > Audio Files to see a list of uploaded audio
- Select the relevant audio file
- Update the name and description as required
- To replace an audio file:
- Click Upload File
- Locate the relevant file and open it
- Click Save Changes
- The audio file will be updated
Download an audio file: #
Administrators can download .WAV files for audio announcements already added to the system.
- In the menu bar click Call Handling > Audio Files to see a list of uploaded audio
- Select the relevant audio file
- Click Download File
- The file will be downloaded
Delete an audio file: #
Administrators at all system-login levels can delete audio announcements that have already been added to the system.Note: You can only delete audio files that you own and that are not in use.
- In the menu bar click Call Handling > Audio Files to see a list of uploaded audio
- Select the relevant audio file
- Click Delete
- Confirm Yes to confirm
- The audio file will be deleted

Definitions #
- Name: The name of the audio file.
- Description: A brief description of the audio file.
- Text-To-Speech: Indicates whether or not text-to-speech can be used to generate the audio.
- Language: The language used for generating this audio file: either English, German or Spanish.
- Voice: The type of voice: either Female or Male.
- Pitch: (MaryTTS only.) The degree of highness or lowness of the voice used for the announcement, in relation to “normal” speech. The range is -100% to +100%. A positive value denotes a higher pitch, whereas a negative value denotes a lower pitch.
- Tempo: The speaking rate of the voice used for the announcement, in relation to “normal” speech. The range is -100% to +100%. A positive value denotes a faster rate, whereas a negative value denotes a slower rate.
- Text to convert to audio; The text that you want converted to audio (up to 100 characters).
