Administrators can specify the destination on an external platform to which information is transferred via Secure FTP (SFTP). Multiple SFTP destinations can be configured.
Administrators must have the SFTP Destinations: Modify privilege to configure an SFTP destination.
Configure an SFTP destination: #
- Click System > SFTP Destinations on the menu bar and the SFTP Destinations page is displayed
- Enter the Name of the SFTP destination (up to 100 characters)
- Enter the Username that is required to access the SFTP destination (up to 100 characters)
- Enter the Password that is required to access the SFTP destination (up to 100 characters)
- This is used in conjunction with the username to authenticate the user login
- Enter the IP Address of the external platform
- Enter the Port to use on the external platform
- Enter the Destination Directory on the external platform to which reports are transferred
- To upload a private key to use for authention in conjunction with the Username and Password:
- Click Upload Private Key File, select the appropriate file, and click Open
- Note: The private key must be in Privacy Enhanced Mail (PEM) format
- Click Save Changes
Definitions #
- Name: The name of the SFTP destination.
- Username: The username that is required to access the SFTP destination. The user must enter this name (along with their password) to log in to the external platform for the SFTP destination.
- Password: The password that the user must type to log in to the external platform for the SFTP destination. This is used in conjunction with the username to authenticate the user login.
- IP Address: The IP address of the external platform.
- Port: The port to use on the external platform.
- Destination Directory: The destination directory on the external platform to which call recordings and reports are transferred.
