Administrators have the ability to view or modify parameters set by the email flow creator, which users can configure. Even if default values are set by the creator, administrators can override them to meet specific requirements. It’s important to note that these parameters are linked to the associated inbound email (IMAP) server rather than the email flow itself.
Administrators must have the Routing Flows: Modify privilege to change user-configurable parameters for email flows.
To modify user-configurable parameters for an email flow:
Procedure #
- Click Email > Email Servers on the menu bar. A list of the email servers that are currently used by the company is displayed.
- Select the appropriate IMAP email server in the list.
Note: User-configurable parameters can be modified for inbound email (IMAP) servers only. They cannot be tied to the outbound email (SMTP) server. - Select the appropriate email flow from the dropdown list.Any user-configurable parameters for this email flow are displayed.
- Modify the parameters as appropriate and click Save Changes.
For a list of user-configurable parameters, see User-configurable parameters.
