When needed administrators can schedule an update which will assign a different call flow to the service number. Administrators can also schedule an update to modify any user-configurable parameters.
- When creating a call flow some parameters are defined as user-configurable meaning they can be overridden to suit your own requirements.
Schedule an update #
- Click Call Handling > Service Numbers on the menu bar
- Select the appropriate service number in the list
- Click Schedule/Edit Update
- Expand the Call Flow dropdown list and select the new call flow that should be used to handle calls to the service number
- Modify any user-configurable parameters as appropriate
- To schedule an update click the input field next to Update Time
- Select the relevant date and time
- If you do not specify an Update Time or the specified time is in the past, any changes take effect immediately.
- Click Save Update
- The scheduled call flow is displayed, along with the date and time that the update will take place
Note: The parameters that you can configure for each service number depend on the user-configurable parameters set up for the selected call flow by the reseller administrator. |
Cancel Update #
To deactivate any future changes, click on Edit Update and then Remove Update.
Call flow update restrictions #
Call flow is locked: Company administrators cannot change the call flow that is assigned to this service number. However, they can still change any user-configurable parameters for the call flow.
- For example, with a basic class of service, where the call flow is defined by the platform owner and the company-specific configuration (user-configurable parameters) is set by the customer.
Call flow is not locked: Company administrators can change the call flow that is assigned to this service number. They can also change any user-configurable parameters for the call flow.
