Administrators at all system-login levels can reset the password that a user must type to log in to the system. The password is used in conjunction with the username to identify and authenticate the user.
Administrators must have the Users: Modify privilege to reset user passwords.
Note: The ability to configure user accounts is a licensable feature of the system.
Reset a user password: #
- Click Staff > Users on the menu bar. The user list is displayed, which shows the user accounts that are already set up.
- For the appropriate user account, click Set Password. The Change Password dialog is displayed.
- Enter the new password for the user account (up to 100 characters).
- Confirm the new password and then click OK.
- The system will send an email to the user informing them that their password has been reset.
