Company administrators can configure advanced parameters that set limits for making payments. If any of these limit settings are reached, a corresponding message is displayed.
Limit Options: #
- Link Expiry Time: The number of hours before the link is no longer valid. The default is 12 hours. When the cardholder clicks the payment link to open it in their web browser, if the expiry time has been reached, the link is no longer valid and a message is displayed.
- Maximum Payment Attempts: The maximum number of attempts to make the payment that are permitted. The default is 10 attempts.
- Maximum Passcode Attempts: The maximum number of attempts to enter the passcode (if required) that are permitted. The default is 10 attempts.
- Maximum Usage Attempts: The maximum number of times that a generated payment link can be used before it expires. The default is 10 times.
- Maximum Access Failures: The maximum number of failed access attempts that are permitted before access is blocked. The default is 10 attempts.
Configure Advanced Limits #
- Navigate to Payments in the left-hand panel
- Select PSP Configuration
- Click the Advanced tab
- For Link Expiry Time, specify the number of hours before the link is no longer valid. The default is 12 hours.
- When the cardholder clicks the payment link to open it in their web browser, if the expiry time has been reached, the link is no longer valid and a message is displayed.
- For any of the Maximum limits, specify the number of attempts/failures that are permitted. The default is 10 attempts.
- If the cardholder reaches the limit, the link will no longer be valid and a message will be displayed.
- Click Save changes
