Administrators at all system-login levels can add their own audio announcements, by uploading audio as .WAV files and/or using text-to-speech to generate audio.
There are various areas within the platform where announcements can be configured. Below are the generic instructions for adding an announcement where the option is available.
Add a new audio announcement: #
- Where available click Add and the New Audio File page will be displayed
- Enter the mandatory Name of the audio announcement (up to 100 characters)
- The name must be unique within your organisation
- Add a brief Description of the audio announcement (up to 250 characters) if required
- To enable text-to-speech, tick the Text-To-Speech checkbox

- To upload audio as an MP3, WAV, MP4 or OGG file, click Upload File then navigate to the file
- Click Add
- The announcement is generated and stored as an audio file
