You will need to install ConConnect on the PC of every user who needs access to the app.
Install ConConnect #
- Locate the install zip file and initiate the download by clicking the ConConnect icon
- If there are multiple accounts on your computer, select Just Me and then click Next
- You can then install the application
- When the installation is complete, click Close
Once the application is installed, a shortcut appears on the desktop:
Click on this to open the ConConnect app and then log into the app.
Set as the default application to handle calls #
On Windows devices ConConnect can be set as a default protocol. Once this is set, if a user is on a website and selects a callable phone number, the system automatically uses ConConnect and Contact to initiate the outdial.
- Go to the Windows icon and in the search bar enter Default apps
- Select Choose default applications by protocol
- Scroll down and select the option on the left: URL:Tel Protocol. Ensure that ConConnect is the default app for this
- If it is not, click Choose a default and then select ConConnect
