Importing or exporting a chat flow

An administrator can create a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) text file that defines the chat flow for a service and then upload it to the system via the Contact web interface.

Chat flows can also be exported as JSON files, which can then be modified using an appropriate text editor.

To import or export a chat flow:

Procedure #

1. Click Chat > Chat Flows on the menu bar.
   A list of the chat flows that are already available for use is displayed.
2. To export a copy of a chat flow, select the appropriate chat flow in the list and click Export.
   The chat flow is downloaded as a JSON file, which you can then click on to open it in a text editor.
3. To import a chat flow:
   • Click Import.
   • Specify and open the appropriate JSON file.
