This procedure describes how to define the various paths that interactions can take through the routing flow. This is done by connecting each node’s branch to other nodes. A path always starts from a branch and connects to the next node’s name.
Procedure #
- Drag from a branch of the node where the connection is to start to anywhere over the destination node. The Flow Editor draws a path between the nodes, indicated by a solid line.
- Connect the remaining nodes using the method described above (branch to node).Nodes that are placed in a routing flow but are not fully connected display the following icon next to the appropriate branch name:
This enables you to easily identify nodes for which branches must be connected to complete the routing flow.
You cannot connect either to an Inbound Call node in a call flow or to an Email Arrived node in an email flow.
