Email Editor Options page
This page allows company administrators with the Email Editor Options: Modify privilege to define which features are available to a company’s agents on their email text editor.
You can define:
- Styles
- Code Blocks
- Lists
- Scripts
- Indents
- Direction
- Sizes
- Headers
- Colours
- Font
- Align
- Clear Content
- AttachmentsNote: If attachments are set and files that can be attached to emails have been defined (Agent Assets > Attachments), a paperclip icon is displayed to agents in their email text editor. If an agent clicks on this icon, a dropdown list of pre-defined files is displayed, which may be selected to attach to their response email.
To enable an agent to attach ad-hoc files from their own PCs (such as an invoice or a contract) to emails, you must assign the Dynamic Email Attachments privilege to their user role (Staff > Roles > General).
The Restore Defaults button allows you to reset all the email editor options to the default settings. This resets all of the options, not just the options on a particular tab. By default, the following settings are enabled:
- Styles: Bold, Italic, Underline, Strike
- Lists: Ordered, Bullet
- Indents: Indent -1, Indent +1
- Headers: Header 1, Header 2, Header 3, Header 4, Header 5, Header 6, Normal
- Colours: Colour
- Font: Font
- Align: Align
- Attachments: Link, Image, Video
Note: The email channel is a licensable feature of the system.
