CareConnect 1.1.4 Release
This release introduces improvements to CareConnect stability, performance, and clinical safety. The updates focus on reducing unexpected logouts, improving EMIS request handling, and ensuring deceased patient records are not surfaced during call handling.
Fixes
Exclusion of Deceased Patient Records
- CareConnect now excludes EMIS patient records marked as deceased from call matching and screen-pop results. This prevents sensitive situations where calls from shared or reused phone numbers could surface records of deceased patients.
Improved Session Stability and Connection Resilience
- CareConnect now handles temporary network interruptions more effectively and avoids unnecessary application resets. Previously, brief connectivity issues could cause users to be signed out every 30 minutes or so. This change reduces unexpected logouts, especially in busy clinical environments. Users will remain signed in during normal network fluctuations.
EMIS NHS Details Request Performance Improvement
- We’ve improved how CareConnect retrieves patient details from EMIS. This makes requests more efficient and reduces delays when patient information is being loaded, so patient details will load faster and more reliably.
