Managing an area-code group

Administrators can edit existing area-code groups, delete groups and copy an existing area-code group. Copying a group allows administrators to add a group that is similar to an existing one and then make quick changes.

Edit an existing area-code group #

1. In the menu bar click Call Handling > Area Codes to see a list of defined area-code groups
2. Select the relevant area-code group
3. Update the name and description as required
4. To edit an area-code:
   • Select the relevant number or geographical location
   • Make the relevant changes
   • Click Save
5. To remove an area-code:
   • Select the relevant number or geographical location
   • Click Delete

Delete an existing area-code group #

You can only delete area-code groups that you own and that are not in use.

1. In the menu bar click Call Handling > Area Codes to see a list of defined area-code groups
2. Select the relevant area-code group
3. Click Delete
4. Click Yes to confirm
5. The group will be deleted

Copy an area-code group #

1. In the menu bar click Call Handling > Area Codes to see a list of defined area-code groups
2. Select the relevant area-code group
3. Click Copy
4. Enter a name for the copy (up to 100 characters)
5. Click Ok
6. The group will be copied
